What We Do
We coat and repair concrete floors. Residential work covers garages, basements and porches. Commercial and industrial work covers restaurants, offices, gyms, retail, showrooms, warehouses, kitchens, factories and mechanic shops. See every service or compare the systems we install: epoxy, polyaspartic, flake, metallic, polyurethane cement and concrete polishing.
Meet the Founder
Concrete Shield was founded in 2023 by Mirza Shams, a mechanical engineer (Conestoga College) who spent years as a precision machinist before starting the company.
How a Project Runs
- Site Assessment: We inspect your concrete, evaluate moisture, assess damage, and discuss your goals. This determines the best epoxy solution for your project.
- Concrete Repair & Prep: We repair cracks, resurface damaged areas, and grind the concrete to profile. Proper prep is essential for long-lasting epoxy adhesion.
- Primer & Base Coat: We apply a moisture-blocking primer, then the base epoxy coat. Multiple thin layers ensure even coverage and strong adhesion.
- Decorative & Design: Choose colors, textures, flakes, or metallic effects. We broadcast flakes, apply custom colors, and create the look you want.
- Final Seal & Cure: A protective topcoat adds gloss, durability, and easy maintenance. We provide cure time guidance—walk-on in 24 hours, drive-on in 3-5 days.
